Filthy Foxes Newnham Takeover 2023
This is a women only event.
We are opening a selection of singletrack in Newnham Park to women only on Saturday 29th April from 9.30am-12.30pm. No timing, no pressure, just riding for fun.
You will follow waymarked routes which you will be able to do in any order you like, and repeat sections without having to go back to the beginning and start again.
There will also be coaching stations where you can practice your skills under the supervision of a qualified mountain bike coach.
The trails
The routes will be made up of a mixture of wide forest tracks and fun singletrack. The footprint of each loop will be on blue level trails with optional red and black sections for riders who are looking for a challenge.

Our coaches will be based on key locations out on the route, so you can visit them as many times as you like.
Minimum age: 12
Under 14s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
Newnham Park is a private estate, and access is only allowed on event days, so this is a rare opportunity to ride the trails without being part of a race.

Fully Sussed is run by husband and wife duo Maddie and Jay Horton. Prolific racers, and now race organisers and coaches, we have been on the mountain bike scene since the 1990s, and have racked up an impressive set of results in solo and pair competitions. We are more likely to be seen riding for fun and organising events these days.
