Newnham 60

18th March 2023

Newnham Park

Who's going?

Please note - there will be no entry on the day.
The entry limit is 200 riders. Once this is reached entry will automatically close.

This event has existed in a few differing forms since 2001 but it has always been about having a good quality ride and a good quality event experience. After a 10 year break, we're bringing the Newnham 60 back in 2022 with 20, 40 and 60km options, and the same ethos - it's all about the event experience.

We have created an outstanding 20km loop in and around Newnham Park which uses all of the crowd pleasing singletrack, some of which has not been used in an event for several years. With 440m of climbing per lap, it will be a big day out, but don't forget that's also 440m of descending per lap! There are some big climbs in each lap, all of which are on tarmac or good stone tracks. All of the descents are on grin inducing singletrack/moorland trails suitable for all riders.

Age restrictions:
20km (12+)
40km (14+)
60km (16+)

Extras
*Free Torq energy gel for all riders at sign on
*Free Mr Whippy Ice cream with sprinkles to all riders at the finish.
*Certini Bicycle Co. on site all day to help with any last minute hiccups, and offer tech support and a trade stand during the event.
*Feed station/motivation station on course for you to top up your energy levels
*Fully waymarked course on tracks that are not normally open to the public

Pedal assist Ebikes are welcome, as long as they are restricted.
